Description

Due to illness, surgery, medication or treatment, you may not be able, allowed or willing to eat. While good nutrition is extra important then. Tube feeding can then be a good solution. Tube feeding is used as a supplement to or complete replacement of normal nutrition.

Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb is a ready-to-use, complete, low-fat tube feeding based on peptides. Protein in this food has already been cut into short pieces (short-chain peptides). 

Nutrison is a food for medical use and is recommended by your doctor or dietician for disease-related malnutrition or when you are at risk of malnutrition.

When will you receive Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb?

To ensure that your weight remains stable and to possibly gain weight again, you will be tube fed. There are different types of Nutrison tube feeding, tailored to the needs of individual patients. Your doctor or dietitian knows which diet is right for you.

Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb can be prescribed when there is a digestive disorder. It can also be used for a food allergy.

Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb is fiber and gluten free.  Contains milk, soy.

Usage 

Check for external abnormalities. Shake well before use. Do not dilute or add medication. Recommended to store cool and dry. Administer at room temperature. After opening, (foil punctured and administration system removed), close the bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

If connected to the administration system (handled aseptically, closed system), the bottle has an attachment time of up to 24 hours.

If the cap is removed from the bottle (in use as an open system), it has a retention time of up to 8 hours.

For enteral use only.

Packaging

Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb is temporarily available from week 37 2023 in a different packaging, namely the Pack. The Pack has a different sterilization method than the bottle (CB), which means that the color of the tube feeding is slightly darker. This does not affect the quality or composition of the product. The Pack also has the same ENPlus connection as the bottle, so no other administration systems are required.

Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb is recommended by your doctor or dietician and is available from your pharmacy and/or facility company, depending on the conditions of your health insurer.
