Nutilis Complete Level 3 is a food for medical use. Dietary nutrition for disease-related malnutrition. Suitable for patients with swallowing problems (dysphagia). To be used under medical supervision.

The name of Nutilis Complete Stage 1 has been changed from Staging to IDDSI level and is now called Nutilis Complete Level 3. The composition, content, nutritional value, consistency and article codes of the product do not change.

Description

Chewing and swallowing is a complicated process. Many muscles are involved: in your lips, tongue, cheeks, palate, jaws and throat. If these muscles do not work together properly, problems can arise when swallowing. Swallowing is easiest when food is smooth and even. Sometimes thickened food makes swallowing easier.

Nutilis Complete Level 3 is gluten-free.  Contains milk, soy .

Saliva has many functions. It contains amylase and helps, among other things, with the digestion of food and drinks. This already starts in the mouth. A drink thickened with a thickening agent such as corn starch quickly liquefies through saliva. Nutilis Complete Level 3 has amylase resistant properties. This means that saliva has little influence on the thickness of the product.

Nutilis Complete Level 3 is a food for medical use. Your doctor or dietitian recommends medical nutrition for (risk of) disease-related malnutrition as a supplement to or as a complete replacement of the daily (normal) diet.

Usage

Recommended to store cool and dry. Shake well before use. Ready to use and tastes best chilled. After opening, close the bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
