MMA/PA Anamix infant is a methionine-, threonine-, valine-free and low in isoleucine powdered diet food based on amino acids. For infants from birth to 12 months of age and as complementary food up to 3 years of age. It contains essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
Cannot be used as a sole source of nutrition, but should be given in combination with another protein source to meet methionine, threonine, valine and isoleucine requirements.
As a dietary food for proven methylmalonic acidemia or propionic acidemia in infants and as a supplement for children up to 3 years of age.
- To be used only under medical supervision.
- Only to be used by patients with proven methylmalonic acidemia or propionic acidemia.
- Not suitable for parenteral use.

General information
One portion (15 grams of powder mixed with water to 100 ml) of MMA/PA Anamix infant provides 2 grams of protein equivalent.
The daily dosage of MMA/PA Anamix infant must be determined by a doctor or dietician and depends on the age, weight and medical condition of the patient.
MMA/PA Anamix infant is available from the pharmacy or a facility company.
Usage
It is recommended to dissolve 15 grams of powder (3 scoops) in 90 ml of water.
- Pour the required amount of boiled water, cooled to body temperature, into a sterile feeding bottle.
- Add the prescribed number of level measuring spoons to the water in the baby bottle.
- Twist the cap on the feeding bottle and shake until the powder is dissolved.
- Before feeding, check the temperature of the food on the inside of the wrist.
