Description

The Flocare® Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) is a set for endoscopic placement of a gastrostomy tube using the ‘Pull technique’.

If you receive tube feeding for more than 3 weeks, the Flocare® PEG tube is the most comfortable solution.  

For the Flocare® PEG tube, access is created directly into the stomach through the abdominal wall. This always happens in the hospital as it is done endoscopically.

The Flocare® PEG tube is an ostomy tube that can be worn invisibly under your clothing. The Flocare® PEG probe is made of skin-friendly material. The design contributes to optimal healing of the opening to your stomach. The Flocare® PEG tube is a thin, flexible tube that allows tube feeding to be administered directly into the stomach.

The first placement is an operation that is sometimes dreaded. However, experience shows that most users would have liked to have been informed earlier about the Flocare® PEG probe. The doctor will inform you about this.

Usage advice

The Flocare® PEG tube is often used in combination with the Flocare Infinity feeding pump. This feeding pump is very compact and lightweight and ensures reliable administration of the correct amount of tube feeding.
