3.1 Visiting and using our websites (general)

Nutricia offers a number of websites and services, including:

• www.nutriciacuijk.com where you can find general information about the company and the products.
• www.nutriciavoorjou.nl where you as a parent can find information about, for example, baby food and pregnancy. You can create a personal account here and use various online services from Nutricia, such as the pregnancy calendar and the Nutrilon Scan & Savings program.
• Websites for medical nutrition specifically intended for patients with a disease who follow a certain diet on the advice of a doctor or dietitian, such as www.hellowpro.nl and www.ketocafe.nl.
• Websites for healthcare professionals for relevant information about Nutricia products, (accredited) further training and E-Learnings, such as the Nutricia Academy via www.nutriciacuijk.com and Nutricia for Professionals via www.nutriciavoorprofessionals.nl.

In general, we process the following types of personal data:

• Personal contact information, such as your name, email address, physical address and telephone numbers;
• Account login information, such as your user ID, email username, and password;
• Communications with us which may include details of chat conversations, care line contacts and/or customer service contacts;
• Demographic information, such as your age, gender and lifestyle (preferences). By ‘preference’ you can, for example, think of your preference for certain products that we offer and your interest in them;

• Scan information when products with a QR code are scanned if an account is;

3.2 Improving our websites and personalization

We process your personal data to further develop and improve our products, services, way of communicating and the functionality of our website. By processing your personal data, we get a good picture of the interests, wishes and changing needs of customers. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Nutricia also processes your data to adapt the website to your online surfing and search behavior, so that we can approach you more personally and relevantly. This means, for example, that we can adjust displayed blogs if we think they are more relevant to you, change the placement or visibility of certain offers on the Nutricia website, and design certain pages or services differently, possibly based on other information if you that you specified in your account.

• Technical information – this includes the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet address; the type of device you use; the website address and country from which you access information; the requested files; browser type and version; browser plug-in types and versions operating system and platform; and
• Information about your visits and behavior on our websites and/or apps (such as the pages you click on) – this may include the time and duration of visits and certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicking, and mouse movements , information shared with others, including via email and social media), methods used to leave the page, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and information provided when requesting further service or downloads.

Using the information obtained, we build different groups (which have certain common characteristics). We will then place you in one or more profiles. This allows us to predict your behavior on your next visit and personalize the website, display relevant offers and advertisements from Nutricia itself on the Nutricia websites, and via third-party websites. 3.3.1 The Nutricia Academy newsletter

Your email address will only be used by Nutricia to send information about (new) products and services and updates about the Nutricia Academy if you have given permission for this. You can always withdraw this consent by using the unsubscribe link in the email message sent, by adjusting your email preferences in your profile via this link , or by sending an email to Nutricia, stating “ Privacy Nutricia”, to: [email protected] .

3.3.2 Find a dietitian

Nutricia offers dietitians the opportunity to become visible in the “Find a dietitian” card on nutriciacuijk.com. This search function on the Nutricia website allows healthcare professionals, patients with disease-related malnutrition and their informal caregiver to find your practice based on the zip code that is entered. Your practice becomes visible when your practice borders or falls within the entered zip code. In your profile you can indicate whether you want to be visible. Then enter your website, expertise and specialism. Your practice will then become visible.

3.3.3 Findability among Nutricia’s healthcare partners

Nutricia has partnerships with various healthcare organizations in the Netherlands. These organizations want to remove the barrier to optimal nutritional care surrounding disease-related malnutrition and increase the accessibility of the dietician’s practice. They do this by making your practice findable for their healthcare providers within their own applications. After your approval, Nutricia will make your practice data available to healthcare partners. The aim is to bring nutritional care closer locally. Your practice will therefore become even easier to find in local nutritional care-related initiatives. You can indicate your consent preference in your profile and then withdraw it at any time.

3.4 Attendees or potential attendees at Nutricia-related events (online and offline)

We, or third parties on our behalf, may collect and use certain information about you when you attend events (including training and e-learning), including the following:
a) personal contact information, such as your name, email address, physical address and telephone number ( s);
b) your employment details (when you are present on behalf of your employer);
c) the field in which you are active, your professional qualifications and activities, and professional data such as data relating to your educational/employment history;
d) information you provide in relation to the event itself (such as attendee forms, feedback surveys, recordings or interviews of the event and photos of the event and content you submit in connection with the event (e.g. when you ask a question) and your travel and accommodation details); and
e) nutritional information you provide to us (if applicable).

3.5 People who contact us with questions (e.g. through our consumer contact centers)

We, or third parties on our behalf, may collect and use certain information about you, for example:
a) your name including your title;
b) your postal address;
c) your email address;
d) your telephone number;
e) your date of birth;
f) your contact preferences;
g) information provided when you correspond with us (such as through our care lines and/or customer service lines or social media) which may include call recordings if you call us directly – to the extent this includes information about your health, see the section “Special categories of data ” below;
h) information about other people, such as personal data of your family members, to the extent that you provide that information directly to us; and
i) any updates to information provided to us.

3.6 People with whom we have contact in the context of our business activities and who do not fall into one of the above categories (excluding suppliers)

When Nutricia communicates with you in your capacity as an external stakeholder who does not fall within the above categories, such as where you are a representative of one of our customers, a representative of an industry or peer company, a scientist, a healthcare professional, an academic, a representative of a non-governmental or consumer organization, a politician, a policy maker, a regulator, an investor, an extra-financial rating agency, a journalist, a representative of a trade association, etc., we, or third parties on our behalf, may provide the following information collect and use about you:
a) professional contact information, such as your title, name, email address, physical address, telephone number(s), social media, language of communication;
b) your employment details (job title, organisation, any other position you hold) and/or political party (only if this has apparently been made public by you);
c) the field in which you operate, your professional qualifications and activities, and professional details such as data relating to your educational/professional employment history; and
d) any other information that you provide to us during our interactions with you.

If you are or are acting as a supplier to Nutricia, this Privacy Statement does not apply to you. The applicable privacy policy or statement will be made available to you separately.

3.7 People whose personal data we collect from other sources.

We may also collect personal information about you from other sources when:
a) you search for our products and services and when you share content related to our products via social media pages, websites or apps or in response to our promotional materials on social media;
b) we collect your personal data from other public sources (e.g. comments on websites other than ours) that mention Danone or one of its brands. We may also collect publicly available information about you in your capacity as a public figure for business purposes;
c) your data is provided to us by media suppliers and retailers, such as your purchase history and your loyalty card profile; and
d) your insight data is provided to us by third parties (i.e. media providers, marketing technology or advertising technology solutions), such as your demographic data (e.g. age, parental status), your location, your interests and your purchasing intent. Some of this data may be collected through the use of cookies and other similar tracking technologies.

4. Special Categories of Data

In principle, Nutricia does not attempt to process any sensitive data relating to you. However, some of the personal data we collect about you or that you provide to us may be special categories of data, often relating to health and wellbeing.
We will only process this type of data for purposes for which you give your express consent, or in other circumstances permitted by law (such as defending against legal claims).

5. Legal basis

We believe that the legal bases for using your personal data set out in this Privacy Notice are as follows:
a) Contractual necessity: our use of your personal data is necessary to perform our obligations under a contract with you or to take steps to conclude a contract with you.

8. Social Media and Other User Generated Content

Nutricia likes to talk to customers, users of Nutricia applications and visitors to the website about its organization, products and/or services, via the web and (its own) social media channels. The aim is to provide useful and relevant information and/or answer questions raised via social media. Nutricia follows the internet and social media channels, such as Facebook, Twitter and blogs. Nutricia makes every effort to follow feeds on these channels, to participate in them and/or to proactively respond to them and to answer individual and relevant questions and comments. Nutricia expressly reserves the right not to respond to every question or comment. No rights can therefore be derived from whether or not you respond substantively.
