Tube feeding is used as a supplement to or complete replacement of normal nutrition.
Nutrison Advanced Diason is a tube feeding that has been specially developed for people with diabetes or hyperglycemia. The specific composition with a low glycemic index (GI) contributes to preventing blood sugar levels from being (further) disrupted.
Nutrison is a food for medical use and is recommended by your doctor or dietician for disease-related malnutrition or when you are at risk of malnutrition.
Nutrison Advanced Diason is lactose and gluten free. Contains soy.
Usage
Check for external abnormalities. Shake well before use. Do not dilute or add medication. Recommended to store cool and dry. Administer at room temperature. After opening, (foil punctured and administration system removed), close the bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
If connected to the administration system (handled aseptically, closed system), the bottle has an attachment time of up to 24 hours.
If the cap is removed from the bottle (in use as an open system), it has a retention time of up to 8 hours.
Packaging
Nutrison Advanced Diason 1000 ml will be temporarily replaced by a new 500 ml packaging from week 38 2023. The composition does not change.

Contraindications
- Not suitable for infants
- Not suitable for patients on a fiber-free diet
- Not suitable for patients with fructosaemia

Nutrison Advanced Diason can be reimbursed by health insurance under certain conditions. Your doctor or dietician knows how he/she can apply for reimbursement and what the conditions are.
Nutrison Advanced Diason is recommended by your doctor or dietician and is available from your pharmacy and/or facility company, depending on the conditions of your health insurer.
